Long Time Lurker Becomes Owner - 05 6MT Silbergrau Coupe
Hey All!
Been a lurker on this forum for nearly 10 years and finally pulled the trigger this Summer. Discovered the ZHP after purchasing a 4 door AT "Sport Package" E46 in 2012 when I began browsing forums for maintenance and so on.
Over this past Summer I came across a Mafia member's ad (FungShui) with the exact spec I'd always wanted (Silbergrau Coupe, 6MT, non-alcantara). 134k miles with a few tasteful mods and an impressive service history it was hard to pass up. Had a PPI done two days after chatting with the owner and had a one way ticket booked from SLC to San Jose for that weekend to drive it back as the third owner of a fantastic car!
I've done a few small things since (replace aged window trim, new tires, hardwire radar detector) but outside of that the thing is in great shape! Quick picture from the day I got it back. I'll plan to post more details on the current state of the car and a few more photos as I can get to it!
