Technically yes, one side of the car (the driver's side). It can be coded for both sides though, which is what I did. :)
Just wish the Audi drivers would get the memo. :facepalm

Yup, as others said, its there for safety. San Francisco Bay Area is a high fog area. Hell, our fog is named Carl the Fog and he has a twitter..haha.
The E90 rear fogs actually are dual fogs and frankly I wished we had them from the factory like Audis/Merc/Minis. I seriously think its because BMW NA thinks people are idiots and do not know how to follow instructions on when to use the lights properly. I frankly think they are right about people being idiots.. since 10000% of the time I see people with no lights in the rain, or fog lights on when its crystal freaking clear.
Mods for the M3 are going to be on a hold for awhile.. I moved a little too fast on things without letting my bank account recover. LOL
Old pic from the when i first got the car and found out it had the DIY button already done.

I did the rear fogs on my e92 and I used them mostly when someone was riding my ass. It’s amazing how fast someone slams on the brakes when they think you’re slamming on yours lol

There is something about that carbon fiber rear spoiler that looks so right.
