After a couple of false starts where my CD53 radio wouldn't recognize the Sirius module, I finally got it working. I looked up the Radio Service Mode Settings, and it turns out my radio was coded for Europe. As soon as I switched it to USA, it recognized the module.
Now I have Sirius, and it's great.
Be sure not to pay full price for SiriusXM. A few days before your contract is expiring, call and say you want to cancel. They'll ask why. I always say it's too expensive and I'm trying to save money. They'll offer a 12 month plan between $77 and $90/year. If it's the higher I usually say no and they offer $25 for 5 months. I'm on my 4th or 5th 5-month contact on two of our cars.
What if you sell half of your shares ? In this way, you have a profit and continue in the game. Stock seems to be going up recently.
A bath and some new PIAA super silicone wipers.
The PIAA wipers require you to run them for 5 minutes in dry conditions to get the silicone on the windshield. So I gave the stereo a workout. I replaced the whole shebang a while a go, and for anyone that was wondering, 75 watts RMS to the front is more than enough.
