Helping at the shop today. He's done a bunch of work already, but the parts I did was install a new slave cylinder, the bushing with the "bitch clip" at the back of the trans, and will do the guibo...

Due to the pandemic, dealers are offering at-home airbag replacement.
Hmm. Will keep this in mind. Thanks for the info!

It looks like this is slowly becoming the plan! Not sure how far I'll go - not too keen on swapping the rear suspension bits to convert to 330i rear brakes because it's simply not worth it, but I'll...
Well, this was a bust.
I thought I was ordering a set of anthracite birch wood trim for a sedan based on an incorrect listing, but what I got instead was a set of black painted flimsy plastic trim...
Worked on several things on the new motor before it goes in the touring. New oil pan gasket, welded oil pump nut, new pillows, oil filter and gaskets, exhaust manifold "gaskets" and studs with e-torx...
Seems like they decided to slap us in the face with the stuff we couldn't have, yet again. The car pictured for the ZHP is Shawn's M3 sedan, and is nothing like a ZHP anymore. And they said the ZHP...

What about these? It's mid $500's for a pair of them, and you won't have to worry about discarding unneeded projector assemblies.
Charlie showed me these earlier: ...
Every laser light I see on eBay is over a grand per side. Even the regular LED ones are close to a grand a piece used. Where are you seeing undamaged lights for that little?

Don't remember. Friend gave it to me and it's been sitting a while, low on my priority list. lol
I have to ask him again. It's a piece that's a bit difficult to get, I just can't remember what it...
This is what I would do, and will do, once I find a replacement plastic piece for the one I have.
You're going to experiment with a couple of grand's worth of headlights??
Replaced all the door interior trim clips with the exception of one door, as those were in new condition. Also cleaned out the fuel-soaked insulation under the rear bench seat that was a source of a...
The reason for this is stated at the bottom of the page when you select it. They say they have to buy the shift knob with that emblem to transfer it, which is why it's so expensive. I just went...
If you have Xenons, an HID kit isn't going to do anything for you - you already have what you need.
If you have a problem with light output, then you probably have burnt ZKW projector bowls, which...
A few of us have already chimed in on the subject. Personally I don't think anything less than the real deal is an acceptable option. I doubt anything that is "cheap" in the aftermarket is going to...
Ah...
Well Dr. Colorchip is easy to apply, though most of my chips are again easily visible. Not sure if they're new chips or of the applied paint flaked off. If I had to do it again, I would use...
A respray is the best way to get rid of chips. All touch-up does is fill it in.
Get a water pump with a composite impeller. The metal ones have bearing issues from what I heard.
The composite impeller is the "latest and greatest" part.
So, thanks to Photobucket changing their policies after the fact, I had to back up all of my Photobucket pictures, upload and sort them on Flikr, and go through every page of this thread to update...
I came up to Charlie's place today to help him with intake boots and to pick up a leather shift boot from a Facebook Marketplace seller, but the rain ruined things earlier in the day, so we ended up...
