Installed a new Fuel Filter with a new vacuum hose connector and new fuel hose connectors and clamps. Rolled 120,000 miles and figured it was time

Test fitted my new to me sound system in the trunk. 12" sub, 1200W amp, 2 farad capacitor. Need to buy all the wires. Will install next weekend

Had a 12" subwoofer, a 1200 watt amp, and a 2 farad capacitor dropped off at my place for the ZHP from a friend, fo free!!!

Bought a quart of oil to top off the oil level. Judging by the cars recent thirst, I'd say I have to hunt down an oil leak...again...

I just bought some Bosch Icons as well. Both Driver and passenger on the ZHP and just the driver side on the GFs car.

Diagnosed my vacuum leak finally! New parts on the way. No wonder power was down and car stalled at idle. Oil and air was leaking at the intake manifold gasket.

Main reason for pulling the intake manifold. I think I also had a leak where the intake manifold meets the engine block. Check my build thread. I know my oil /air separator was not working correctly...

Pulling the intake manifold. So far dipstick tube removed, wiring harness disconnected, throttle body, ICV, DISA, air intake box all out.

Laptop battery died so waiting for it to charge back up.

Already watched it. Wanted to see home much difference there was with the resonator out. I am eventually getting headers and dont want to end up too loud. Let me know when your vids are up!

OE expansion tank, leaking OFHG, Idle hunt, squeaky pulley + LA Traffic + 3-4 hour commute per day does not add up well.

Next weekend, Vanos and CCV. And a wash,...

Drove it after being apart all week. Still have vacuum leak and rev problems around 3,000 rpms. Ordering Vanos seals and picking up a new battery.

Ordered new hardware for DISA valve, Idle control valve, and the bracket that attaches to ICV.

New DISA going on tomorrow w/ new intake boot, new air filter, and a freshly cleaned ICV.
