It was the MAF. And then the crank sensor died too. Replaced both and it was good to go.

Thanks everybody for your responses. I'll forward her this link.
My friend is looking to ship her new-to-her 335i from San Francisco to Alabama and is looking into car haulers. She is looking for recommendations or companies she should stay away from but I've...
Yeah I did that 3 years ago when my alternator died. I can check it again to rule that out.

I replaced the battery (it was 7 years old) and the fuel pump. Now on the way to work after driving for about 30 minutes it did it again. Here is a video when I am idling. I have my foot on the gas...
Went back to the car and it started up and ran fine so I was able to get it home. So the problem is intermittent. I'm going to buy a new pump and filter.
Haven't seen the car since I left it on the side of the road on Thursday. Will go back today and do a little investigating.
No MWL. Not yet anyway.
It's on the original pump.
I was driving around the city last night and after 181,000 miles my car has finally left me stranded. I was going about 20 mph with almost no load on the engine and there was a big stutter or hiccup....
I don't think it is the FSR, as my blower motor is working fine. It is the fan mounted on the radiator that is not coming on.
Also, yesterday I hooked AC gauges to the high and low side ports of...
A few weeks ago my ac quit working, I normally do all of my own maintenance, but I've never done AC work before so I took it in to a shop. They called back and said my auxiliary fan was dead. I told...
I moved to Charlotte over the summer. Are there ever any get togethers around here? I'd be interested in meeting other zhp owners around here.
Have you considered using pre-preg carbon fiber? This could alleviate the issue of epoxy seeping into places that you don't want it. We used this type of carbon fiber to make a monocoque for our...
At least there is the wind farm to look at near Ellsworth...
Great!
Yep, all problems went away once I put the correct lugs back in.
Did you switch back to the stock lug length when you removed the spacers? I had an issue years ago when I swapped wheels where the lugs protruded too far through the hub and gave me a similar issue...
Nice, I had a 95 Montero SR in high school and my first year of college. You really don't see many Monteros driving around!
I live in Overland Park, I'll keep my eye out for your car. I've got a silvergray sedan too.
How do you like the ride and handling? I'm due for shocks and I will definitely be getting the FSDs and I am debating on getting the Eibach springs as well. I really like how the car rides now and...
Update: I replaced my alternator last night with a remanufactured Bosch unit from ECS and it appears to have solved my problem. Thanks, guys.
Here is what I have found. I went back to the car yesterday with my tools all prepared to check and pull the alternator. I got in and used the test feature on the cluster to check the voltage at...
