Right now I’m using a scosche magnet that sticks to the front console.
Pros: low profile and matches the interior. Doesn’t get in the way of any buttons or vents
Cons: the adhesive does not...
Unable to find definitive info on this, but does someone know if I need to get a new wire harness for the heated seat swap, or are our cars already equipped with the necessary harnesses to...
For sure. I've heard good things, even that their prepainted parts are pretty spot on.
This is for an mtech II bumper right? Have you tried ümnitza? That’s where I’m going to get mine. Waiting for a sale though haha
Is it the 5 button version? 2 heated seats, Traction control, dynamic sound and tire pressure reset?

thank you, sounds simple enough. Just need to get my hands on a center console piece with the seat heater buttons now
Question for anyone who has done a heated seat retrofit: do I need to do my own wiring, or can I use the wires from the donor vehicle?
Context: I am looking at some new seats for my zhp. They have...

So just finished with my new A/T sump gasket and filter, and decided to try to figure out what is going on here. I’ve...
Thanks, I decided I’m just gonna replace the gasket and filter again. I have them on warranty from FCP euro so might as well. Only thing that sucks is being out of commission for a little while.

So I found a pretty significant oil leak coming from my automatic transmission. I think it’s the oil pan gasket. I did a drain and fill with gasket and filter replacement maybe 3-4 years ago.
Do I...

Mine also sounds like this. I also don't like it and want it to sound better lol
Has anyone ever heard of oil leak but only on an incline? I left my car with my dad in San Diego, and he says he left it in the inclined driveway (front facing up) for a couple days, and when he...
I would just drive it on dry days when the salt will have the least impact and wash the undercarriage regularly like you said.
We never had a problem with mice because we have a cat and litter box...
I used that for my mounts and OPG too! Works, and I keep it around for the next time

Yeah I would change the pump. I’ve heard these things can just fail out of the blue and leave you stranded. I keep a spare in my trunk just in case. Don’t forget to get a new gasket as well.

the fuel pump is more likely to be the culprit since it is in that general area.your fuel filter is on the driver side, closer to the front wheel. Then again, a clogged filter could damage the pump....
So I think it's time to finally get a new front bumper. After plastic welding the bracket and getting it as flush as i possibly could, my brother trashed it again by pulling too far forward in a...

Nice thanks guys. I’ll order the cheaper one then. Genuine bmw too apparently

Can someone confirm whether or not this gasket would work for the fuel pump in our ZHPs?
