+1. Well said.
Repairs won't be any more costly on the ZHP-- almost all parts are the same between the two cars.
If you're not bent on getting a ZHP, I would get the car that has the better maintenance history....
+1... and his cars are meticulously cared for.

The head gasket replacement along with water pump and thermostat is a sign that this car had a cooling system failure and overheated. I'd be asking a lot of questions about that. Can cause lots of...
I would think about passing regardless of price.

Congrats!! Keep us in the loop.
If it was dealer serviced, then you're going to have a lot of the original fluids/parts in there. Things like trans fluid, differential fluid, coolant, and fuel filter are now considered, "lifetime"...
If either no or minimal maintenance has been done on this car, I would really steer clear.
Maintenance is key to the longevity of these cars.
Most likely it has the original fluids in the...
The car the Boss is referencing has 128k on it. Autotrader add from a page back.

Even with a clean PPI, $22,600 is...
There's nothing wrong with that kind of mileage IF the car was properly maintained.
A properly maintained ZHP with that kind of mileage still has a ton of life left in her.
If there are good...
I would ask about the cooling system. 80k is getting right in the fail zone if it hasn't been done yet.
Jump on that sheeeet before he changes his mind, lol.

Agreed. Good idea.
There's nothing wrong with a ZSP. Personally, I just think the ZHP package offers more all around performance, aesthetics, etc. Worth being patient and waiting for a ZHP imo.
I remember reading something about the M when I was researching firmware updates. I think it was available through aftermarket firmware.
I have the latest nav maps and mine still says BMW.
Doesn't look like #3 is a ZHP.
