Foot vents for the back.
Tpms is at least pretty trivial to retrofit if your ZHP came with the right DSC module (and most did). Anyway, shameless plug, but I do have two panels with the heated seat buttons, one with tpms and...
Well I got it off and it's definitely an aluminum washer. Dealer washer is also aluminum. Either material probably is fine.

RealOEM does show an aluminum washer though
Am I looking at a stuck washer here (sure looks like it to me), and if so, anyone have any tips for how to get it off? Prying at it just marred the surface

Anyone know if the hole for the coolant drain plug the M54 has a raised lip? Can't decide if what I'm seeing is a washer stuck to the block or if I lost the washer somewhere and I'm actually trying...
Pretty much all batteries world wide are made by one of three (or so) manufacturers. Originals were made by Varta. I think in the US replacement batteries tend to be East Penn (Deka) or Exide.
7440 non-A bulbs won't be amber.
7440A or WY21W
Seems like a much less common failure on the E46 compared to the E39. I know of people with 200k+ on their stock radiators
Does anyone here have an oil temp gauge or otherwise log their oil temperatures?
As some of you know, I threw an M3 cluster in my ZHP. I've noticed that my oil temperature gets quite high when I'm...
My M3 came with one, and so did my mom's 330xi. You got it if you had BMW Assist
Depends on the equipment. There were something like 4 different springs offered in the rear. Looks like low optioned coupes had one extra spring that wasn't offered on the sedans.
It'll vary based on the options the cars came with. Should be the same as any 02+ 330i either way
It's not like aggressive driving will instantly toast a synchro. But on any car harder driving will cause failures earlier than normal driving. As long as you're not slamming it into 2nd every shift,...
Edit: Never mind, I don't really feel like arguing this. I'll just say I do own plenty of quality audio equipment and my entire collection is stored as lossless. But I maintain that the difference is...
If you say so. I'd bet double blind, the vast majority would have a difficult time discerning the differences between direct digital, aux, and bluetooth when factoring in engine noise, tire noise,...
To be fair, with how noisy a car's interior gets, the artifacts from lossy compression and/or digital to analog converters are harder to notice.
60k is pretty aggressive. 75-100k is fine IMO
Rev limit was still 6500
I am aware. At least in my case, all of those factors remained constant, except for the brake fluid
Most experiences aren't particularly in depth. Most people just find the brakes still work and ABS kicks on, and assume it's fine (not saying that's the extent of your experience specifically).
I...
I think this is most important in cold weather. I found my ABS to not work well in sub zero temperatures with normal DOT4 fluid. I switched to DOT5.1 (which is about as thin as DOT4LV w/ higher...
Nah I'm like that about most things on the car, but with the CDV, that area looks more stock without it in place lol
The headlight washers I actually like when they work. They do a pretty good job...
Still, it's not like it looks like anything is obviously missing. The two ends fit together and it looks like that's how it was meant to be from the factory. Sure us enthusiasts know, but most of us...
