My were so rusty that I had to sand them then use some silver wheel paint on them...my car doesn't see winters either Dr Vanos unit too
I dread ever having to pull that thing out of my car.... how the hell are you doing that by yourself?
I'd do a compression test while everything is apart just to make sure you don't have a leaking...
I'm so looking forward to it! No rush on the pulley... my car is still on the jack stands. I'm still trying to find the time to get the new heat exchanger sorted out
Wow! Lots of good stuff going on with your car. It just keeps getting better and better.
You're right: Better clamping force = heavier pedal... no way around that really other than more surface...
I can't thank you enough for all you help and encouragement. Without it, I would of sold the TS2 a long time ago. I'm very excited to get the the new green giant injectors and Walbro fuel pump in so...
My cold starts are much worse than that... along with the drivability issues in the first couple of minutes.
Damn, you've put a lot of time and effort into that, so glad that the end result is so...
That's good news Ryan... gives all of us others with TS2s hope for our shitty ESS tunes.
Did they get it right on the first try or did you have to go through a couple of tunes first?
Nice tire rack! So it was your engine temp not your boost temp that was rising? Unfortunately, it will be in the 90s for the next 5 months here...
Glad to see you out of hibernation! Lots of good stuff!
Your car sounds amazing with that exhaust! You passed quite a few people too, looks like your car has the power and you have the skills ;)
Yea that helps with the exhaust... thanks!
I am so jealous of your HP numbers :)
Great updates Ryan, good to see you getting on the track. I have the Hawk pads and like you noted, they do squeak a lot on every day driving. The initial bite isn't that great either when compared to...
Yes
Glad you had a great day in your car. Sounds like you have it dialed in pretty well. About the bucking, mine does something similar if I cycle the throttle too fast. I think it's the mechanical...
I wonder how much 4th gear skews the results....
Your NA number is really good. Was that with the headers and a tune?
My car was about 30 hp lower NA so I'll probably never see numbers as high as yours with the TS2.
What gear. Are you using for...
It would be nice to know how to tell if it's spun. If we knew that, then we could paint mark the balancer. That way we would know it'd it has spun or not in the future
It sucks that the ATI is the only aftermarket performance dampener for m54b30...
You mentioned that your OEM damper spun on you. Did you notice any difference with this? Engine any smoother?
How much did that set you back? That should help with the common oil pump issue too
awesome! Time for me to start checking junkyards :)
I see you're still running the stock springs... 3 stripes. I've run 3 different brands of tires, all the same "size" but they were all different widths. The fattest were at least an inch wider than...
I like it covered...without it, it looks unfinished/incomplete for some reason...
I'm not familiar with this mod, I read the whole thread on e46f... very interesting. What did you end up doing with...
