Fixed.
Thanks Dane.
these came on the M3 i bought and they're just not my taste. one front and one rear wheel has some rash, but nothing terrible. need some TLC, but overall i would say they are in average-to-good...
not a project thread yet. first order of business is to get the thing all cleaned up before my 600 mile road trip next weekend. spent about an hour tonight just doing basic stuff and working on the...
i don't know what they're worth just yet. the tires that are on there will stay on there. they're the all-season michelin pilot sport i think with good life left. i'm not sure yet what to sell the...
thanks guys.
the wheels are going to be sold for something not quite so gaudy, probably ARC 8 or CSL replicas. konis, h&r springs, otherwise stock. new brakes pads, inspection 2 done, oil just...

just parked it in my driveway tonight.
nevermind.....just did what some of you said couldn't be done....
Bought a 2003.5 BMW M3 with 85k miles, service records, and inspection II just finished for $17.5k.
I was looking for the same thing as you but found out those requirements resulted in pricing that was too near m3 territory. Now I'm looking at either an m3 or something with more miles. Overland...
hmmm....that makes two of us in KC looking for one. hopefully we don't get into bidding wars with each other. :)
i already did put in an offer, waiting to hear back. cash is in the bank waiting to be spent.
i've been all over this for the last couple days, about to put in an offer. :)
i should mention that i'll have to buy a second set of wheels for both of them. i would likely use the beat up wheels on the white one as my snows and get a set of ARC8s for summer. the silver gray...
well yes, of course. both manual.
why do you say the silver/titanium one (the listing says "silver gray" whatever that means)?
seems like $14-15 is a more reasonable purchase price for this?
so i've got my eye on two right now....tell me which you think is the better deal;
2005
110k miles
Alpine White
Sedan
Black Leather
HK Stereo
Cold Weather Package
TC Kline Koni shocks
hmmm....interested maybe. looks like the car is in Memphis, and i know someone there that might be able to haul the car to Saint Louis for me where i can go pick it up.
more interested in a car...
how about Nashville? anyone?
ok then...
how about a 23k mile option with an asking price of $23k?

still haven't heard from the guy...i left a message telling him i'm out. it's all you KK if it's still available.

c'mon....i didn't even have to look more than 5 posts down. listed for $21,500 obo which means you should be able to get it for $19,500. yeah,...
i was all ready willing and able to spend that kind of money on one of these, but then i found out that M3s are not much if any more money for similar condition/mileage.
i think it's a bit silly...
so......it's only for sale to idiots then? :)
i hear you KK, and i am a bit sympathetic, as my brother-in-law was not-insignificantly wounded in combat and received a purple heart.....but i can only give the guy the benefit of the doubt so many...
i also want to believe the same.....but i just can't figure this guy out. there just aren't many ways to fix a roof with a dent in it that don't involve filler. you could take the headliner and...
