$18K with 20 mins to go. Should be able to get close to breaking even
at $15K with a couple days left. Looks promising for the seller so far.
Thanks. The car was in strong mechanical condition, in part thanks to Botond who helped me with things like cooling system refresh, headlight retrofit and others. I sold it to the seller who was...
Yup. It sat in the garage the vast majority of the CT winters.
As the former owner of this car, no, it does not have rust underneath. At least not through the 6 years i owned it. Doubt it got rusty over the past year in CA.
My Imola with 70.6K miles sold for $19,000 in March so this price is pretty consistent.
Wonder if the guy who was selling his Imola with same mileage as this one (59K) but asking $32K for it has...
I sold my ZHP in C&B and was very happy with the process. Would not hesitate to use them again. Cant speak from BAT.
Poor seller lost even more money with the second auction. That's really gotta suck.
Dropped it off for a cross country ride to its new owner.
Look forward to seeing pictures and documentation that supports a 68% premium.
The seller took a pretty big hit. $20,250 + 4.5% buyer's fee is almost $21,200 before sales tax/registration. If he put $3K into it he's crossed $25K easy
rear driver side headrest missing? how does one not replace that? seems so easy to just buy at a junkyard, or am i missing something?
Thanks guys for the feedback.
Of the 2 bid sites, i am leaning towards C&B.
What are people’s thoughts on reserve vs no reserve?
Sites will say no reserves get more activity but wonder if that’s the case.
Yea CB has something similar. Probably not worth paying. Nowadays even phone cameras are so good.
Fyi mine will be coming up for sale over the next couple weeks. Initiating process with C&B over the next couple days so timing will depend on how long it takes for it to be approved then agree on...
For those with experience listing at C&B/BAT, is there value in paying for professional photos? Full set of ~100 pictures is $250.
If it’s a pure flip they may not even register it and save the taxes. Not sure it needs $3K in parts but don’t remember if there was anything major wrong. As I remember it was mainly small things,...
Does Colorchip paint expire? I have some left that is probably 5+ years old.
As a future seller i welcome this good news [emoji846]
Yup. This will likely be a flip.
where did you get it? part out from someone here? i've been to a couple junk yards and no luck
I did a price comparison of flat vs gloss black trim for the 2 pieces i need and to my surprise flat was only $60 cheaper, which would easily be absorbed in having the shop paint them gloss black.
Awesome. Thanks, folks.
I'll bookmark these and check during thanksgiving and see if there are any black friday sales.
