I think you probably have to " point " the device manager when it's asking to locate the drivers - I would not let it search for drivers automatically but when you connect the dongle choose the...
Do you know where bp saved the drivers to? As in where is the folder containing the drivers located on the pc ?

You can probably go to PA SOFT webpage and download drivers from there to a usb stick or just the desktop and load it from there ?

Got the coding laptop today:
( Lenovo R 61 with XP)- 2.2 Ghz Intel and 4 GB RAM ( and no dreaded Nvidia graphics)
14.1" WXVGA screen, Bluetooth and even fingerprint reader!

Got a not too old ThinkPad R61 in great condition with Win XP sp3 from eBay for $90
2.2 Ghz and 2GB ram - should be ok - I can always add more RAM I guess.

It's a great offer especially because you know that it works without soldering pins of the unit etc -...
I am sure that's the case but there is a difference between getting it to work by running VMs etc and advertising as " works with windows 7 " which led me to believe it would work without any extra...
I am interested in getting one too. (If it still stands that it will work with Win 7 and requires no mods)
