No functional differences that I am aware of except the auto level sedan functions. This one came from a car with auto xenons and rain sensor. You can get triple blink, progressive brake lights etc...

For most track use you will likely be wearing gloves, which makes Alcantara (or even better is suede) a lot more grippy than leather. We have a leather wheel in one of our racecars and I hate it....
