I think it can get done in the 128. But it needs to be an absolutely perfect run and the car needs to behave.

Lol, exactly. I don't want the car to be too competitive.
Thanks Dane. I added pictures now with the car in selling state.
Sorry.
I'm actually selling the Z4M and 128. Z4M is already...
Decided to move another direction and list my 2012 BMW 128i.
I've owned this car since there was 4,400 miles on the car, so I consider myself almost primary owner. Full disclosure this car does...
Just IMO - Nexen tires are no where near the performance level of 71Rs.
Don't run a harness without a bar. Big huge no-no

Glad you got it worked out. Very frustrating when it doesnt come together.
What's your rear alignment like? Perhaps more Toe and camber can help too if you want the rotation to still be there...

Thank you for clarifying.
And that's why you don't see much STX E46s out there. They aren't as easy to prep as an E36

I think they are only in the headers, I don't believe you have secondary cats.
Correct on the second statement. That, or you'll have to custom fabricate them in yourself
Yup, rules are above.
Basically, if you have one set of cats (like just in headers) you must retain OE location within 6"
If you have 2 sets of cats, like primary secondary, you can...
The shoulders on these tires are wearing exceptionally well.
I talked to a guy from Tirerack at a National Event here today and he mentioned once you flip, that inner band smooths out and wears...
30 runs. Going to flip after this weekend at which they'll have 50 runs.
People are getting around 125-150 autocross runs.

Just FYI don't expect the RE71Rs to last you much.

Welcome!
I'll be down in Wilmington from time to time for Autocross (actually this weekend too).
Sidewalls on the RE-71R are stiff, so you can overstuff.
But yea if you can run 9" do it

Yep. And if you're inferring mine they are 17x8.5 ET40 :(

Already starting to list my Apex ARC8 and RS3s. Which means I need to post that here. Thanks for the reminder

New event with the RE-71Rs and 9" Wheels. Absolutely unreal.
1st in class, 3rd/178 in PAX
Yea, the RE-71Rs are amazing.
1.18G Sustained in sweepers. 1.4G peak data. Absolutely unreal.
Will do, I have an event I'm going to test them out with on Sunday.
Initial impressions from driving around the block and making sure it doesn't rub. Dunlop Z2 tires on crack is the best...
LOL. It is a lot of tire for the car, barely clearing the inner strut and outside clearance.
