I was in the same boat two years ago for the first bimmerfest. I used 3M blue painters tape. Worked perfectly, no chips, cleaned right up with some quick detailer.

No, thankfully someone was home and called the cops as well.



No pictures, didn't have it in me to take them. Car is in the shop, worse case entire panel has to be replaced, two weeks min :/

Ive seen that alot too but the half shafts are shorter and have a different bolt pattern on the M. You have to use the right trailing arm as well.

If the 330i and 330ci half shafts are the same...

From what I can gather the arms are exactly the same except for their horizontal alignments. The carriers should bolt the same onto the arms.

More info on VR, I believe there were some voice commands but now I can't remember which ones. I was able to hold the command button and speak to the TCU.

There is a manual floating around the web somewhere. Steve (Sna77) would probably know more. I do have the factory users manual, that is also included with the TCU.
