Arent the Weisslict Flex LEDs priced at around $165 CAD for the pair? Almost the same as what the Morimotos are priced at ($120 USD for the pair)....
That is awesome. I plan to throw them in my flash-to-pass/high-beams, replacing the existing halogen H7s.
Extremely impressive work, BP! And thanks for detailing everything so well for the rest of us.
I am scared to see how the wiring inside my ZKW would look like at this point - yikes! I do have a...
You know, you want to move here. You are just in denial :)
BTW, 421K KMs on your odo 'looks' a lot higher than 263K miles.
Thanks man! Any ideas what is the difference between 7225 and 7506 bulbs? They look the same but the tail-light running lights are supposed to be 7225, whereas the brake lights are 7506.
Thanks BP. This one would not ship to Canada but I found a few others on ebay which do. However, I did not have a lot of success in finding amber LED lights for the turn signals...those are the ones...
Looks like BP does not want to share his secret supplier for LED bulbs :)
Awesome work with the LED lights! Mind posting the eBay links (or wherever you bought the LED bulbs from) so that we can buy from the same source, knowing that these are BP approved/tested :)
Shawn, you were able to capture a picture of the mystical creature (BP) in its natural habitat (working on his wobz)!!
Yup! There are a few DIYs floating around. I made a proper harness and plugged it into the steptronic harness. Works like a charm.
Great work BP. Love the fresh M3 wheel you got going there. I agree with you, the feel of a fresh and clean steering wheel makes a great difference to your overall driving experience. I felt the same...
Was great to meet BP in person for the first time. He replaced my driver's side mirror motor and boy, he is so detail oriented and particular about doing everything the 'right way'. Thanks so much...
20791 Look who we found in our neck of the woods. Ayan is working hard supervising BP while he changes his brake pads.

Congrats on the windshield replacement - I have been looking at a lot of youtube videos on fixing chips and it seems my chip should be easily repairable. I will get it done by a professional.
Good...
BP, I don't know whether our cars are jinxed with the same issues!
I was driving out from Ottawa to Toronto today and a rock came and hit my windshield pretty hard and I too got a stupidly big...
Thanks BP. I bought FX-R projectors from TRS so I trust their quality. I will check out the turn signal led bulbs. Do keep us posted about the led H7 bulbs when you settle on one.

Maybe I misunderstood - aren't you already using LED lights for the indicator lamps and the brake lights? If so, were these simply plug 'n play in the factory connector or did you have to make any...
What brand/vendor are these LED lights? If you are able to share a link that would be great.
BP, care to share more details about these LED H7 lamps? I am quite interested...
