The bidding starts at $16,000, unless I come to my senses and say "what are you thinking, fool?" ;-)
Tires are less than a year old (not the Pilot Sports in the photo), old school oil service, has iPod connect, in great condition.6006

Ranger, still looking? Drop me a line at otto99 AT roadfly.com. Excellent shape, Black Sapphire, alcantara, auto, newish tires, just under 84,000 miles, and to get the car I want I have to go through...
Hi, guys, it's been a while, but I had to congratulate everyone on what appeared to be a great time!
I still have Black Devil Car, and it's chugging along nicely! I'll stop by more often.
Guys, I am considering selling the Zhpper, and I have a question; since I have to pay off the note (way less than the car's value, but still...) before the title can be transferred, would an...
I bought mine with STEP for the very reason you state - the commute was tiresome with a manual, which I endured for 5 years with my E34. Then about a year after purchase I changed jobs, and I really...
Take heart. The six is still healthy, and be purchased in all models. The N55 (or N54 in the case of iS cars) is a lovely engine.
Greetings!
My son had a 2009 Si sedan. Nice enough, but still a Civic. He did some suspension work on it and found some software that made the engine more responsive at lower rpm so you didn't have to zing it...
I think there's a thread about that somewhere. ;-)
Thanks, all. I am aware of sapphire black, as I have it, but wasn't aware of the subtle differences in the later colors. Remember, I'm an old guy, and come from the days when there was one black...
That didn't help. When I look at a photo, it looks like black. What is the difference between Jet, Carbon, and Jerez?
What is Jerez Black? I am unaware of this color.
Patience, Grasshopper. When you're old like me, they let you drive anything. The new 740i with the turbo 6 is a giggle, as is the 335iS. And the new 5 is just a wonderful car in all trim levels.
I agree! Burn him at the stake! ;-)
Actually, I am of the opinion that there's no car ever made by BMW that doesn't look good in black. As partial evidence, I cite the E9, E24, E28, E34, E38 and...
The 335is has the twin turbo N54, not the newer single turbo model.
I think $2,500 is very conservative. It would cost that much for my son to de-auto his 635, and it's a far less complicated swap.
The 335iS is indeed the ZHP of the E92 world, and it's a wicked car. As soon as the prices come down, I will happily trade my car in on one. And it will have the DCT, unless reliability issues...
@pyre, I really like the signature slogan!
The kid's 6 is a very cool looking car, but the ZHP is an eminently more satisfying automobile. Even when we get it to near 100%, it still won't be as totally engaging other than the "wow, look at it...
Well, now I'm questioning all kinds of things I accepted as truth and am rapidly losing the will to live. Wait, I still have a cocktail to finish. Damn, that was close.
Sorry about THAT
88 635Csi, In pert near perfect condition. He claims it will be a father/son endeavour. We shall see.

I personally prefer the chrome kidneys on mine, but it's black and I don't care for the Darth Vader look, NTTAWWT, just personal taste. On red it's a different story, and I'd go matte black.
I voted Other, as Black Sapphire wasn't on the list and I'm biased. But any black is just fine on any BMW, and on a ZHP, I also like Imola. I don't dislike AW, and think they're really pretty, but I...
