You should see the mess of a thread about possibly installing an additional 3gal fuel cell in the Frunk. I didn't even get into that mess of a discussion but there was a lot of talk about fiery...
Noted, never get fuel in either of those states. WoW, I had no idea.
EDIT:
I had a dream about driving my ZHP a few nights ago ='-(
I love the i3 but I find the community of owners to be a...
I remember those days, it probably took me 18 months and about 3 kits to finally get a reliable set in there, once I did though it was good to go for several years, up until selling it.

I chose the grey, Laurel Grey, because I thought it was the least obnoxious choice with all of the black on the car (hood, CFRP roof, hatch, etc). The tinted windows help too, thanks. I do agree...
Yeah, they can be had for much less, mine has every option available. With a lease you only initially pay depreciation on the negotiated price (nowhere near $55k) so if an option costs $10,000, for...
BMW will offer hybrids in all of their models, it won't be a complete transformation for another decade probably. They like to use the headlines "electrifying their lineup" etc but its really just...
Finally went through some more ZHP and miscellaneous left-overs, created second part-out thread.

I called but I think I chose the wrong option and then I got passed onto an "i" person. My BMWFS info isn't in the system yet, I'm going to wait until it's in the system and call back and talk to...
Thanks for the info, another $2500 in my pocket would be nice, doesn't hurt to ask!!
I could have saved another $500 off my i3 had I already been a member. SMH@myself.

Used the pre-conditioning feature on the i3 for the first time on my short trip to work tonight. Too...
Did a bunch of coding this morning on the i3 including flashing brake force display. I didn't get to check it out/test it until I just came into work. Looks awesome!!
Spent too much time creating the i3's project thread.

See, this is why I'll still be on this board even though I no longer own a ZHP, awesome members that are very helpful.
Thats probably going to be the winner. I guess some tint shop in California has one designed specifically for the i3, I'm hoping they can just cut me one and ship it to me.
Drove about 42 miles yesterday, 0 gallons of fuel used. WOOT! Car charged overnight on 110v and was at 100% this morning.
Will be repeating today, better half and I are dog/cat/fish/house...
Congrats! I think that was the first thing I did to my ZHP, in 2006.
It really is big inside, especially up front. We don't have any kids, just two Chihuahua's so we won't really need the back-seats very much. I have read, however, and chatted with some other owners...
It really is, but it grows on you like a fungus. Thanks!
2.4 gal! haha, I wish it were bigger, but the point is not to use it much, if at all. It doubles my range though if I have a...
The drive was long, but I had been up for nearly 40 hours. I ended up being extremely cheap and buying a $22.75 MegaBus ticket to ATL (from Memphis). I was hoping to sleep the whole way there but...
Yesterday
Bought it, coded it, drove it home 400-some miles from Atlanta.
Here she is this morning.

Oh man, I've spent so much time getting this prepared I'll be really upset if this is the case. Thanks for the warning, hoping for a better outcome.
EDIT: Hey this had me curious because I was...
I'll keep that in mind if this doesn't work out, or doesn't work well, a friend hooked me up with Windoze 8.1 64bit and I've almost got it ready to code. I still need the cable and, oh yeah, the...
