The throwout bearing only spins when the clutch is engaged
I can send you a couple of video clips of my car with headers and stock exhaust. PM me you email address if you’d like
I’d wait until you get the headers to do anything to the exhaust. It’s going to be much louder. The stock ZHP exhaust sounds pretty damn good with headers IMO
Are you running g headers?
I have a Borla on my car now with a Magnaflow cat back and a muffled X pipe in place of the one that came with it. It’s pretty loud
Scrap. Usually, shops will just let you toss them into their scrap pile. That kind of metal is worthless
I've got sooo many parts laying around... probably all going to the scrap yard including the M2 stock exhaust with 200 miles on it... also Got full 135 exhaust system and OEM suspension going there...
I think I'm good, thanks!
They stick out a lot further than the other two. That's about where mine are now... maybe slightly further. I want them tucked in a bit.
My Corsa was like Spencer's.
Awesome! Thanks for the help fellas!
Can anyone take a top and side pic of their exhaust tips in relation to the diffuser? Maybe even measure for me?
They are sticking out too far on my custom muffler and I'm going to have them moved...
I viewed by car model

Hmm I don’t know if I am go through a set of rears in three years with the low mileage I’m running on my car, I’m running staggard.
Perhaps I’ll go for the 4s
Actually, if that was 2017, they’ll...
So the M2 competition came with Michelin PSS.
I thought I remember reading that they are discontinued? Replaced by the 4s?
I still see PSS for sale everywhere ...
Really? I paid $400 for it... perhaps I should sell if for a profit...
Nothing but looks.
I’ve added a few polished pieces to the car and I have a Dinan CF valve cover. The plastic cap would look out of place.
No one?
Anybody know where I can get a decent aluminum oil filler cap?
I got one from ECS and it doesn’t fit
BTW, don't let anyone scare you away from the N54. It's an amazing engine, I'd rather have an N54 than an N55
Ok get them to do a key read for the service records.
It should at least show the service done over the life of the factory warranty. If the car was serviced there after that, it will have that...
Wife said it looks like the bottom right column might be what they have into the car. They usually fix what ever is broken before selling it.
Every dealer is different though could mean...
Check your power steering hoses too. Judging by the residue pattern on your thermostat housing, it looks like it's getting flung up from below.
I was going to say, I don't remember seeing that line when I eliminated the SAP and valve
That is weird... perhaps there is more stiction with the shock oil with the colder temps
It was a long time ago so I'm not sure but I think I sprayed it in one of the vents in the passenger footwell.
