Years ago one of my coworkers at the dealer tried to swap the sensors without draining the oil by going real fast, you can imagine how that turned out lol

Ok, been a little while. We've had a bunch of big projects come into the shop and quite a few little jobs that aren't that "interesting" so this is the reason for the extended update as you all know...

The mounts for the V-Brace to the chassis don't exist on the non-M3 cars. We don't add them to our conversions but the next one we might look into it, it's just not simple option at the moment.

This car turned out really nice, here are a couple more pics of the underside.

Yep, I've seen it a few times, never on a M62 thought.

Years ago the M62s had issues with the thermostat housing leaking coolant through the pins. It would short out and pop a fuse in the E-box....

I think that is a generic blue shop towel that people like to use. Somehow it got into the crankcase and sucked into the oil pump pickup. :facepalm
