With regard to the direction of the shifter, if you lift up your shift boot you'll see a screw head on the barrel of the shifter, that should be facing towards the front of the car.
Here's the instruction:

Top of page 9 says to "Insert white bushing into carrier" and an accompanying picture. THIS IS...
I did install a DSSR. The instructions are actually wrong but it's pretty obvious when you're installing it. Really not sure if you could complete the install wrong but if you did you would be able...
That's weird, that's what I'm running in mine and love it.
Is that a MB thing cuz we don't have that in RB
The $100 on the invoice was undoubtedly for customs purposes. I had a friend in Taiwan go visit Johns Leather to check into having a dozen or so done so I could sell them with the benefit of having...

However, we put it in Rando's car as a temporary fix when the OEM tank in his...

Don't hold your breath. We've discussed it before, first mention I could quickly find was 2 years ago:

Doh!
You were in Rando and I's neighborhood!

Yeah don't get me started on this stupid "non serviceable part" that doesn't last forever.
For people that had them leak under warranty they just put in new engines.
That's the URO expanding pipe in the first pic. 14 hours is the general consensus for DIY, indy shops charge about $2k but I don't know how many hours that works out to.
To replace with an OEM...
Tackling the leaking collant transfer pipe in our X5 this afternoon.
