Oooo I get to code an F87 Competition tomorrow. Brand new off the lot... and I think it's white. It's like I'm there with y'all. :rofl
Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I've heard about it but I never recalled it being a huge problem. I think it was more on the early cars anyway. They should have these problems sorted by now, I'd...
Some S55 motors have issues with the crank hub.

^ That thread focuses on TPG Tuning's "solution" to the crank hub problem, but still has...
I hope this jackass had insurance...
WTF!!!

I'm just glad you didn't get rid of a great car because of something stupid that can be fixed by coding! I was shocked when I saw that being mentioned.
I know a couple of people who do. LOL
They scare the bejeezus out of me... and refuse to ride with them.
That is strange. The F80 M3 is coded to have it enabled in Normal and Sport, but Sport+ disables the rev-matching feature. I wonder why they did it differently for the F87.
Should be rev...
Not on Sport+ though; I think that's the only mode where it's turned off by default. I also believe Sport+ turns off DSC on its own. It really doesn't make any sense; I'd imagine if you're on a...
Nah bruh... if it's within a day's drive, I won't fly if I can help it. :)
Why would I pass up an opportunity to play with an F-series car for the short time I had one? Had to test my ENET cable somehow! [emoji6]

lol
I think this can also be bypassed with coding... I remember doing it with the F30 loaner I had.
You apparently don't know me well enough!
I drove up to Peter earlier this year just to drive his car for a few minutes and try out the flywheel before I purchased one. The folks at the...
Might be a little bit of an oversell... ;)
So when we doing this???
Seriously doubt the dealer will do anything for you. I think this is outside the scope of their capabilities.
Yeah man - I'd love to come down and code it for you. Just let me know when! Would love to check out the new house as well!
I had edited my post right as you posted yours. Just wanted to make sure you saw the addition. Disabling rev matching also disables the feature where it gives gas as you're starting off in first. ...
I think you should give coding a try. I found something that would disable the rev matching feature, which I think is your main gripe at this point, correct?
Disabling the rev matching also...
Hmm - I thought some of that could be controlled through coding.
I think you're assuming that I'm lugging my engine, which I am not. So, that statement isn't true...
Lower revs = less wear as long as no lugging is going on.
I can understand a little bit of a loss, but... the difference between the 205k ZHP and my 307k one shouldn't be all that big... but it is. I did a test last night... 90-110km/h in sixth gear, foot...
I need that like I need a hole in my head, especially after discovering my ZHP makes significantly less power than other ZHPs!
But with that said, I won't refuse a drive. :biggrin
Hiding any of that gorgeous LBB is a crime!
