Thank you Terry, was hoping tires were in better shape. Anyhow, the wheels looks very nice, not to mention again, substantially lighter than the OEM wheels.

How are the tires on these currently? I'm interested since I need to tires soon anyways, might be a good chance to upgrade as well.
Clocked 108k this past week.
Driven approximately 10k miles since purchasing it in November of last year.
Hows the intake sound compare to the OEM Performance Intake? Much louder?
25 here and still living with parents. . . Sad, I know. But school is a few minutes from the house. During the past few summers, was able to save a nice sum of money, from helping out with my...
Re-painted the M-tech bumper's front grill. It was bothering me as the black was chipping off, showing the silver color underneath it. Did the same method as one of the members on here, but instead...
Not much, other than a couple of sqeaks (passenger seat) and rattles (center dash) inside the cabin when driving thats kind of annoying. However the subframe issues seems pretty serious. . .
Very nice looking IR. One of my favorite colors on BMW.
BTW hows the "Black Wow" holding up? Was thinking about repainted the trim the other day =)
Definitely been thinking about it.
Actually looking for AW/convertible to replace the MX5.

A easy way to check is to jack your front tire up and spin them. The...
The ccv was a pain putting back on with the limited space you have, but with patience its definitely doable.
The cooling system was a breeze compared to it Haha
Greetings Familia,

Also ordered a new DISA and fuel filter. . ....
Maintenance: CCV hose kit from Ticsher and oil housing gasket while I'm in there.
Car runs strong with no lag since the DME update about 1k miles ago.
Question: Anyone know where to get the...
I'm actually thinking opposite. Wanting to trade my manual for an automatic, seems more practical since no one in my family drives manual.
Hey Dane, are you planning to get the ZHP control arms with the Performance kit?
And since you don't need the shocks, I could get those off your hands =)

I remember calling the buyer a few times with no luck before I bought my current zhp.
Probably would have bought without knowing all this.
Torn intake boots, Vanos, and DME can all create that bogging/hesitation through the power band. The whistling sound however, is usually traced down to a torn lower intake boot.
Well the ones I have says AL on them, but I'm not sure if the ZKW's are compatible with the AL's.
If anyone has a AL Bi-xenon ignitor they would like to sell please PM me.
Thanks!
Damn, that sucks. . . reminds me of that one epic story of the 350z from socal.
They better get things right for you.
Silver gray usually looks boring to me, but wow! Yours is absolutely stunning! I'm not into modding much but yours is inspiring me to do so lol
Sending good vibes your way =)
Congrats!
I usually get results around 22-24mpg. Sometimes 24-25. And once, an even 30mpg driving the car home from Daytona, Florida. I was surprised to say the least.
I had some belt/pulley's noises start up and it sounded more like a high pitch squeal. Nothing like this though.
Could be starter related, as Dane pointed out.
