I think that leak looks like the dye used in ac systems to find a leak.

I've had this problem before, the usual response is "we have to have special weights in the driver's seat". I just think they are scared of a "BMW" honestly.
Drill that retaining screw out and order a new one. When you put the caliper and wheel on there will be no issue withot it.
