OS Giken Super lock. It's got 28 friction plates in it. Vac Motorsports installed it. We used to live near them. The ring gear is welded on the diff so they cut it off and machine it for bolts

Peter, I have a P3 vent gauge for boost... I don't like it. Not only is it hard to look left and down to see the gauge, at night the gauge reflects in the drivers side window right where the mirror...
Water pump is pretty easy to do on that motor.
If the old one was OEM and under 2 yrs with a receipt, you should be able to swap out under warranty.
When the water pump went in the 135, luckily...
We used the Burger Tuning catch can kit on the 135 (same one as the 335) and were very happy with it. Comes with everything you need for an OEM looking installation.
It's an M-sport. I think the steering is different on those. Our X1 M-sport (based on the e90 chassis) had great steering characteristics like Peter describes
After reading what you added to your first post, I can tell you that when you add more HP to this motor, you also add turbo lag and it will have a pretty hard hit when the turbos kick in.

N54 is over built too, can take up to around 600 hp I've heard. Easiest mod is a JB4, lots more HP in 20 minutes
