Hi all,
My track-prepped 4 door is up for sale (I bought a 60k mile Imola M3 which will be my next track car)
So many details, many of which are listed on the craigslist ad bellow. I am willing...
AYYY that's dope. And hilarious because that photo has no camber plates installed...lol
The reason the rest had to be removed was because I replaced the whole pump with a different one, not just the shaft. So the whole cradle had to come off and the sprocket was a new one, did not reuse...
with that said, it'll probably blow up soon
Not only did I not prime the pump, i stripped on of the bolts that hold the sprocket on, and stripped two of the four female oil pump girdle mounting holes that are threaded directly in the block.
...
Thanks, yes I dropped the whole front end including bumper, rad, k member subframe and oil pan. You also need to take the whole front cover off to access the oil chain tensioner install location. so...
I will try to take a photo when I'm back on the lift, I actually haven't seen it myself. Was in a big rush to get to the track
I had a custom braket fab'd up for the mid support
Thanks!
It is a great sounding combo. And I noticed a significant power increase. Happy to send you video with good audio if you send me your number (iphone so it doesn't degrade quality).
The ZHP got new:
G-Loc R10 race pads
600 brake fluid
Bimmerworld race brake lines (insulated)
Foglight delete (for brake ducting)
Suspension mount point reinforcement
Catless headers (ceramic...

Hey, the setup is 17x9.5 et23 front 17x9.5 et30 rear, 255-40-17 square but they are r888r so they measure more like 265. Thats equal to running a 48mm spacer in the front with the stock wheels, so...
Yeah this was an open track day. Good time!
Hey. No you'll be fine. I just put mine back on the ZHP yesterday to give the arc8 a rest. Fallen rt615k 235/40-18 is a nice compliment to these in 8.5" width hit me up if you have specific...

Pic dump. she just made it across the country for a third time (3900 miles with some detour) without a single hiccup. 135k miles now. Got new MCS coils on, got my new 17x9.5" wheels on, and fresh...
Got my Ground Control FCAB pressed into my old lollipop housings. Had to make a custom tool.

And made some custom bushings out of stainless for my MCS dampers (same as stock, I...
Thanks, yeah I wanted to switch it up from the silver
Gotcha. So they do not show a temperature gradient, they show a single temperature for each tire? My goal is to have a temp profile across the tire width so I can tune my suspension angles. The...
Cool!
The main advantage of what I am building is it will give me a gradient across each tire rather than a general tire temperature, which isn't super useful for tuning. I'm not familiar with the...
I ran 255/40 square all last season. It was a good setup, felt great. The Proxes run wider than the RE71R and I moved from 17x9 to 17x9.5
We'll see how they feel at Thompson and Palmer
