You can install the new clip without the tool. But if you had the retaining tool you could remove one of the other cir clips and take it down to the hardware store and match it up.

Looks like the larger washer will fit over the axle and then a cir clip and your back in action. [emoji106]

Part of the metal unibody where the jack pad adapter attaches. On my M3 it's bent inward.

Believe me these do bend, both my ZHP and my M3 had the rears bent. The rear one on my M3 is bent inward pretty bad.

The jack points are pretty similar if I remember correctly, coupe vs coupe.
