A good stop gap would be applying RainX to your windshield. Over 50 or so, you shouldn’t even need wipers unless it’s a really heavy downpour.

Yep! I LOVE it. Back when I used to daily E46s in winter, it laughed at starting in -15f or -20f.

I do 50k miles on plugs, checking every 3-4 years, don't really replace them on age. Belts I check for cracking and splitting. If they're over 80kish/7-8 years I replace them. I'm not sure what BMWs...
What brand radiator? I had issues with my Behr radiator sitting/mounting correctly. It took me a while to get it mounted/sitting properly.
Do you live in an area with snow/drive the car in salt? I personally haven't had good luck with rusty external torx, they seem to strip incredibly easily.
