Have you added oil? You can easily over full by 1/2 qrt without issues. In fact, I overfill before every track day.

I know there’s an e60 version of the wheel that was sold in the US. I’m pretty sure they had different part numbers, though.

All of the oil sits in the pan at the bottom.

I haven’t used underdrive pulleys, but everything I’ve seen used a different belt to account for it.

Have you contacted any actual shops, or a parts place like Turner or Bimmerworld? They might be your best bet.

I’m quite certain the strut mount was not changed based on year. That’s a huge change to be using the same springs between the years, which they did.
