This is awesome, Fredo. Thanks for sharing!
No gas lines over there but you can also just rip the heat shields off with some pliers. No shame in that - they tear away from the gasket part pretty easily.
Should just be a matter of clearing the code in PASoft if you have it. That's how I've always cleared airbag lights.
Uhh let me get back to you on the issues part. I have some binding noise/feel in the passenger side when I turn the wheel but haven't been able to determine if it's the spring rubbing, the bearing...
Best $$$$ you can spend imo. So much safer than jack stands.
Antigrav gang WHATUP
My car has been sitting since you left the country, so the battery is def dead. Can't wait to just push the restart button and drive lol
Hey man this was on stock ZHP springs and Koni FSD (now called Special Active) shocks. It rode very well and handled long sweepers with ease, but wasn't great for really quick transitions like you...
Hmm let me dig around and see. I might have installed it back in the car I don't remember exactly.
I think mine made it 8 months but basically disintegrated and collapsed. I remember getting on FCP Euro and seeing similar feedback in the reviews. This was a few years ago though they may have fixed...
Being a deadbeat dad somewhere. Went out for cigarettes a few years ago and haven't seen him since. WHAT IF WE LIVED IN THE SAME CITY AND NEVER HUNG OUT LMAO
@squashman702 I picked up the car...
Thanks guys! Definitely not worth it lol. Should have either stuck with eBay headers and bolted on the Borla, or bought the full Schmiedmann exhaust. I didn't do the latter because I read some...
After a several month hiatus, we're back on the exhaust project. What was I doing in the meantime?
- travelling all over the US
- wrecking work vehicles/getting a new work vehicle
- buying a...
Side quest!
When I get stuck for while on a frustrating project like the exhaust, I tend to find a smaller side project to dive into. It gets me back into the flow of working in the garage and...
Next up was to figure out how I was going to mate the headers to the rest of the exhaust. Here is what I was looking at:

Never updated y'all on my exhaust adventure from a year ago so here we go:
The plan was to make the Schmiedmann equal length headers mate up to the Borla catback exhaust system. I knew it would as...
I think I have two or three left that need to be repaired (plastic connectors got damaged in shipping). I've had all the parts for years, just not the time. Maybe @Galapolis has time to do the...
Idk if the PS4S compound is better but the PSS were a deathtrap below 40F. Even on dry roads. They basically turned to plastic.
Sounds like a good plan but be aware of what you're getting with the Rogue tranny mounts. Any of the drivetrain-to-chassis (engine, tranny, diff) mounts are going to transmit a good bit of vibration....
Nailed it @Galapolis
The M54B30 is inherently unbalanced and slaps the shit out of that chain. I had the front subframe down to install headers so went ahead and did the oil pan gasket, baffle,...

I maintain that plates are just bandaids to put over existing cracks and the real reinforcement is in changing the load path. I believe I posted diagrams in another thread.
Stay away from the...
Oh man I have two racks in my garage. I'll have to get some pics of them to see if it's what you're after. I think one has bike attachments or something.
Exactly. Do what the wheel thieves do and hammer a smaller socket on there. The 10 second wheel lock tool lol
BRO
I need to hear about this trip and see more this car. I think Aston has had some of the best car designs in history.
Great angle on this shot
