I'm too poorly funded for the figure-out-the-newer-cars-software-and-cables-Fund.

Maybe when I've recovered financially I'll start buying cables and a dedicated computer for it and figure the new stuff out. Money is coming in too slowly and not enough of it.

I got my truck back yesterday - so it will be at Bimmerfest and it is likely my daughter will be driving it there

You're going to need ISIS to change that... his car is too new. I believe 2008 is the last 1 series you can change with the older tools

When you say "truck", do you mean the X5M? That is no truck, it is an SUV with a sports car's heart and more than enough motor to prove it. A truck is some old gallopy S-10, Stuart you sir have the the ultimate driving machine.
