    Rob/Kristen,
Just talked with Preston and he offered to let you borrow his VMR-710s for the day. They are pristine, the wheels from Au2bahn/Jon Estrella's car. We could meet up early at the Home Depot, you bring a jack, we'll make the swap, Kristen can enter the show, we swap back at the end of the day. Consider it, I'm gonna call Jon to find out the offsets.

Fronts are 235/35-19 with 35mm offset, rears are 255/30-19 with 45 offset. It sits real flush on an e46, do some checking to see if it'd be similar on a 135.

Is there enough material on the backpads to have them machined? For example, I had a pair of BBS LMs that needed to lose about 10mm and the backpad had almost 25mm so it left me with plenty of material to retain strength. If you need a shop to perform the machining, I have one here in MD that charges about $25 per wheel to machine backpads

I don't know what the stock offset is on either car so I don't know how this relates to those measurements. I know that when I put Kpro's old wheels on my car, I had to add 10mm spacers to get them to look right under the fenders... The rears seem to be identical.

That is REALLY nice of him to offer the wheels to us!

Heh, yea there is like 3"on the front. It looks like it's got a 3 spacer built into the wheel center...

Stu, I'd rather get my money back if possible, the rears have no lip and were supposed to have 3" + besides that the face of the wheels sticks out past the tires on the front, they just don't look right, and look nothing like any picture of any F14F on the Internet.

Bruce, thanks for the phone call, I will take you up on your offer . Very kind of you and Preston.
