Last Thursday I replaced my expansion tank, the upper rad hose had been replaced approximately 2 months ago. After the tank replacement everything was good, no leaks of any kind. Two days later I turned the car on and turned the AC on, stepped out to double check no leaks, and found it "spit" some coolant. I turned off the car and began to try and find the leak, was able to pin point it to the smaller of the two connections from the upper rad hose to the ET. Today I removed the upper radiator hose and cleaned the connections and replaced, no luck it still slowly drips.
Does anyway have any ideas on how to seal this us? Its not a massive leak, its a slow stream and its not constant, it has not even leaked enough to require me to top off the coolant at this point. So far I see my options as try to get ECS to replace the tank, and order another new upper rad hose and start over. Only issue is this weekend are my only days off until next Sunday, so im going to have to monitor the fluid level and live with it until next weekend unless I can figure it out and get it fixed soon..... any help or tips are much appreciated!
