Not gonna be there, but my sister lived there for awhile. The military base is pretty cool.

What are you doing at Bragg? I was never stationed there, but went there many times during my 30 years in the Army. I also lived there as a kid (1964-66).

Tactical datalinks training. This is my second time here & I still can't get over just how huuuuuge this post is!

Datalinks? I use to fly the Army OV-1D reconnaissance aircraft. It was equipped with a Motorola APS-94F Side Looking Airborne Radar (SLAR) that had a 100-km range. We could 'datalink' the radar picture to a ground station. I wonder if this is the same concept.

Similar in overall goal (digital sharing of info), but the datalink I'm here for (Link 16) is about automated friendly position reporting & shared air/land/surface surveillance track reporting.
