    New owner of ZHPMafia.com

    Well, not exactly.

As you all know by now, Mark (Marcus San-Diego) gave Keith (Kayger12) and I the site on June 1st, 2013.

Keith gave me sole ownership of the site on June 14th, 2013.

I wanted to publicly thank Keith for entrusting me with (giving me) his half of ZHPMafia.com, and can promise the membership and moderators it will not be abused, nor wasted. Mark and Keith, as well as JR are still a pivotal part of this site, always offering me advice, tips, support, and a kick in the ass every now and then.

My number one goal here is to continue to provide a professional atmosphere for BMW inspired people to commiserate, reflect upon and share life with one another, should they choose to. We've always supported and have always endorsed the Family atmosphere, and can't see that ever changing.

Should anyone see something that can be improved, feel free to hit me up via PM for consideration.

So with that said, I wanted to thank everyone in advance, for their support, understanding, communication, and contributions. You all amaze and inspire me in your lives, and what you do for the BMW community.

Thank you Keith and JR for continuing in your moderator/Member contribution roles and thanks again to Mark for getting this ball rolling.

That's very kind of Keith. Is there any reason Keith didn't want to hold his half?

Looking forward to seeing how things progress with you at the helm, Dane!

Well said, Dane. You will be fine. And you won't be left alone to twist in the wind. You know how to find me if you need something.

Moreover, even though Keith is no longer an owner, he continues to serve as one of your confidants and moderators. You're in good hands.

John, meanwhile, will continue to develop as a steward of this site. He will increasingly be a sidekick that you turn to.

Of course there are reasons, but they were his reasons, not ours.

Honestly, I can't commit the time that you guys and the site deserve.

Because I hold a public office, once I accepted an ownership position I could not be on or in any way do anything associated with the site during work hours.

That left the few hours I'm not at work and have family and other commitments as the only time available to administer the site.

I didn't feel comfortable accepting 50% ownership and then having Dane shoulder 90% of the workload.

This site was Mark's creation, but Dane was here from the first brick of the foundation. He has always contributed much more than I could ever hope to.

When I took all of those things into consideration, I couldn't accept any other course of action. Dane deserves the site.

Unlike Mark, however, I'm not moving on or going anywhere.
I'll still be here doing the same thing I've been doing for the past few years.

As always, I'm glad just to be a part of this group and am honored that Dane and Mark brought me into their inner circle as a moderator in the first place.
