    Bmw installed mine, put it just behind the front of the drug bin (the part closest to the front of the car).

    I replaced the hood switch on my 745 and it was also near the drug bin, which made me curious about where mine was on the vert. Drug bin...

    Hmmmm interesting, so they did it the same as Shawn/Vas's car. In that case I will probably do the same, seems like the easier option. Plus it puts the switch closer to where it is supposed to be stock

    Thanks for the pic, it's helpful since my car is in storage for winter already. Going to take care of this next year, since the positive terminal interferes with my front damping adjustment knob

    Yeah, that'd be great, thanks. I think I understand what was done - the hood switch and +12V mount were one piece, just keep the switch at the stock location, but flip the +12V around as it just sits on that rubber grommet on the wall of the drug bin. Nothing a dremel can't handle!

    Would definitely help alleviate this problem:

    2004 BMW 330CI ZHP (well, technically ZAM)
