So here it is. Actually pretty hard to write this out. Didn’t think would be posting my ZHP for sale so soon and my family and friends are telling me not to, but just think it is time to move onto the next. Crazy how much of a connection one can have with a car. Many of you guys know, its a 2005 330i ZHP Imola Red with Alcantara/cloth interior and black cubed trim. The car has, Performance Package obviously, Cold Weather package, Xenons, Moonroof, fold-down rear seats, Harmon/Kardon sound, 6 speed manual. Have owned the car since 2008 and it has been my absolute treasure. Currently just turned 86k miles. The car has had an EXTREME amount of preventative maintenance, and has many modifications. The car has been stored all winters and has never seen a snow flake. Parked in a heated garage from November to April through the harsh Northeast winter. All the miles are spring, summer and fall seasons and would say 85% highway and long Maine back roads. I am OCD when it comes to the car, everything was done early, everything was kept clean, never any food or drinks in the car. I am an extreme BMW enthusiast as is my family, with 6 BMWs at the house, maintenance is top priority, and I would say the ZHP has been babied the most.

Just actually tallied up receipts today (never dared to before) and I have a 5” binder full of over $18k! in receipts

Quick modifications list: (sure there’s more)

    -Bilstein PSS stainless coilovers
    -Afe cold air intake
-New OE Alcantara steering wheel (courtesy of BMW)
-New ZHP shift knob (courtesy of BMW)
    -Turner Motorsport underdrive pullies
-BMW Performance carbon fiber strut brace
    -B&M short shift kit
    -OEM alarm
    -M dead pedal
    -Stainless steel brake lines
-Color matched Imola Red kidney grilles
-Clear tail lights, side markers and turn signals with stealth bulbs
    -Euro splitters
-Umnitza Orion V2 angel eyes 6k
    -license plate delete strip
-Dynavin V5 Navigation/bluetooth/iPod/DVD...clone to OE NAV
    -Carbon fiber e-brake handle
    -LED license plate bulbs
-Euro first aid boxes(both pasenger and drivers sides)
    -30% window tint
    -Yellow lamin-x fogs
    -Euro console tray
-Brand new style 135 purchased as well as a brand new tire for use as a spare to replace space saver

    Quick list of maintenance:

-Cooling system refreshed early (water pump with metal impeller, expansion tank, hoses, thermostat)
    -Both belts new
    -New radiator (couple months ago)
    -A/C condenser
-VANOS seals all redone with Anti-rattle kit
-All suspension components refreshed when coil overs were installed
-Front cross drilled rotors with cool carbon ceramic pads
    -New OEM clutch
-New differential bushings (no common E46 rear end clunk)
    -New transmission mounts
    -Valve cover gasket
    -Spark plugs
    List goes on and on...

As for fluids, I am an extreme believer in frequent fluid changes. Have ALWAYS changed oil and filter every 3k miles with either Liqui-Moly Synthetic or BMW Synthetic, as well as right before parking it for the winter. When removing the valve cover not only was there absolutely no sludge, but not even any at all oil staining, pretty remarkable! In addition, both gearbox and differential fluids have been flushed a couple times with Redline MTL and 75-90 respectively. Brake fluid, power steering fluid and coolant annually as well.

Cleanliness is probably what I obsess over most! Car was kept extremely clean, everyone who knows me, knows that. Detailed completely every month, washed at least once a week, many times twice a week. Interior, seats and carpet have no stains. Undercarriage/wheel wells are spotless, no where not a bolt or part with a speck of rust. Car has ALWAYS been garaged, so no sun fading etc. The paint is extremely shiny. When stored was always fully detailed first, all fluids were topped off, gas tank full with stabilizer as well, parked on rubber mats, covered and in a heated garage.

Never once had an issue with the car (maybe because of all my maintenance, haha idk) but have never ever hesitated to drive it anywhere and wouldn’t think twice about driving across the country right now. Went to Bimmerfest and many other places with it. Have done numerous shows throughout New England, has gone through the Mt.Washington Auto Road dozens of times and actually up Mt. Washington as well. Can not explain how much I have enjoyed this car these years. Turns heads everywhere, pulls strong, handles INCREDIBLY and can average 34mpgs highway, all that with a 6 speed manual! Overall it is an extremely reliable, fun daily driver, which can be taken to a show as well as an auto-x/track event.

All records will be given to the next owner, as well as all ZHP brochures, 2 keys, 2 sets of mats (OE carpet barely used and OE rubber mats), and any other accessories I have.
The car will be fully detailed before selling, new state inspection sticker, fresh oil change, will put 2 new rear tires on the ZHP wheels (BBS wheels I am keeping). Even leaving the Bilsteins and Dynavin unit. Not looking for any trades and don’t want to ship the car.

    $18,500 obo

Thanks for looking! 740i is up for sale too in a couple days

Bittersweet... GLWS. I think it should sell fast with the asking price. That preventative maintenance is more than worth it.

    GLWS buddy

To anyone who is considering the car, i have spent a good amount of time around it and can confidently say it is the cleanest ZHP i have ever seen in person, you wont be disappointed in the car you are getting and it will serve you well. The paint, interior, everything is absolutely mint.

I can also back that all maintenance is done early (as if the receipts arent enough), Stathi had replaced his cooling system and saved the old parts...my tstat had failed and in a time pinch i was in Stathi gave me his used/old one....10k or so miles later it is still his thermostat on my car, in addition to the miles of use on his car, without any hiccups.

Yeah, I saw your ZHP at Larz Anderson this year. Sorry to see her go...I'm sure it won't take long for you to sell her though! She's in perfect shape!
