Just as a reminder to some of you. I keep all my insurance (home, auto, life, umbrella, personal articles) through the same company (currently state farm) I also get a discount on them by having them all there together. So keep that in mind if you decide to change your car, that your home MAY go up as a result. Just a reminder for everyone.

I guess I'm old enough to remember that once upon a time ... and maybe it is still holds true ... Geico had a decidedly negative view on policyholders who owned radar detectors ... and even went so far as to help the cops with the purchase of radar equipment. Maybe this has changed ... maybe not ... but I won't touch 'em. I'm able to use USAA anyway .. and they are fantastic.
How would they know if you owned a radar detector?
Also, I have a radar detector in all of my cars. I didn't tell them about them, though. Glad I switched to Geico.
