    Problems with old windshield cowl

The factory windshield cowl is past its prime. Rubber that seals it to the windshield is cracked and in some places missing. I noticed that just below where it should be is the bottom of the glass. Im going to get a new one as soon as I can but was just wondering if anyone knew what's below that cowl and what problems I could end up seeing if rain were to get down in there.

I don't think it ever actually sealed to the windshield, so I would assume you won't see any problems.

^+1 Mine has been like that since I bought the car 3 years ago. It doesn't seal onto the windshield, but a new one sure looks nicer.

Yup, got mine from ECS. We have a thread on this I think. A good install trick is to put painters tape on your windshield so you know exactly where to put the wipers back when you re-install them. It's an easy DIY, and I think we probably even have that in the DIY section.

Just ordered mine at the dealer for $65 picked up at will call. Cheaper than getting it anywhere online because of the shipping cost for the large object.
