I recently did a full intake service. During that I replaced the air filter with a Mann C25114 which does not have the foam facing like the old one.
Which type air filter is better? Foam or foamless?

The foam one is the "heavy duty" if I'm not mistaken. It's the suggested filter for the 330i.
I'm sure the one you have will do just fine... Not really sure what the benefits of the foam is though.. lol

I've never used the foam one. I always just felt like it would restrict air flow too much.
