I think I'll try this, just with laundry detergent. If that doesn't work, I'll try some of the products above.

My alcantara came clean and stayed clean -i've never tried to clean it.... scared of it LOL

For the cloth part of the seats, I use this:

Blue Coral DC22 Upholstery Cleaner - 22.8 oz. Aerosol

You can usually pick it up for $3 at Lowe's.
    Alex'16 Melbourne Red 328d Touring
    M Sport + M Performance Package

Gone, but not forgotten: '03 Imola Red 330i ZHP - 6MT

I'd go with the dish soap before laundry detergent, that may be too strong. Warm water or hot water does make a big difference.

Y'all should note that scrubbing the alcantara may not be a good idea. I believe the procedure is to LIGHTLY brush it in a clock- or anti-clickwise direction. You don't want to wear it out prematurely, do you?

This is the procedure on Coby's site.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

Right. I vigorously scrubbed the cloth center sections of back and booty portions then lightly (very lightly) washed the bolster sections.
