Battlefield Region AACA 24th Annual Antique & Classic Car Show

The Battlefield Region, Antique Automobile Club of America is holding its 24th Annual Antique & Classic Car Show at Cool Springs Galleria in Franklin, TN this Saturday October 5, 2013. This show will be combined with the usual first Saturday of the month Exotic Cool Springs Cans n Coffee.

Franklin, TN is about 20 miles south of Nashville, TN and in the central time zone. Should be a great turn out with the combination of Cars n Coffee, + Exotics and the Antiques. The rides in this area age gorgeous. They even have a Class for us; Class 26, All German stock & modified up to 2011. Registration's from 8:00 till Noon Central Time so, you have an added hour if your coming from the east. Current weather.com forecast; partly cloudy, high of 86 with a 20% chance of rain later in the day.

Turned out to be a perfect day for a car show; partly cloudy with 73 degrees at show start, that would top out at 86 degrees. A slight breeze blowing across the parking lot, made it just right.




The turnout was great with a variety of antiques, classics, Retro, and exotics. People were great, very nice and easy to talk to, and several ZHP fans.












When it was over I again came home empty handed. It's about the breed and the judges lack of knowledge about what I was presenting. Just something we will have to live with. Nothing wrong with being a special sleeper.
