Yum. The only thing that would give me pause is the nav, but there are ways of updating it and keeping it viable, right?

Better call first, they don't always keep everything at the shop.

    Looks good though.

I'm gonna be the fly in the ointment, NO, absolutely not! I dabbled in the e39s a couple of times (we've had 3) but never the M's. The cost of parts on a normal e39 is almost twice that of an e46 because more e46's were sold. Now drift to the even lower production e39M, and welcome to super high priced parts. It doesn't matter if you can DIY, you still have to buy the parts.

NADA, Dane, I couldn't be more emphatic! Cooling system is 3-4X harder & more expensive, front suspension system 2-3X more expensive, rear suspension also more expensive. Don't get me wrong, when they're right they're absolutely fabulous, but not as your daily.

Umm, are you seriously considering this car, DW? If so, know that the color combo on that M5 is STUPID RARE!
    And STUPID AWESOME as well!

I'll be it's STUPID EXPENSIVE to boot, being from EAG. lol

EDIT: Just checked the price; yep. Confirmed.
