As far as install, it is straight forward. Hardest part was probably the c-pillar lights.
No issues with the 'switched' (activated by the push button)? The Zizas would not turn on in my sedan.

Not following you a 100%. Mind explaining?

All the led bulbs turn on and off and the dome light plus c-pillars still fade in and out when the car is unlocked/locked for me.

Also looked through my paperwork from the previous owners and no sign of the ofgh being replaced. Car has 108k on it so i ordered a new gasket, Vanos line and washers.

Last year during the winter I was doing Vanos, plugs and valve cover gasket.

I tried replacing my c-pillar lights today and the ones that activate with the buttons will not turn on with the ziza bulbs installed. They work fine with the OEM bulbs and the ziza bulbs work fine in the other socket. I can't figure it out.

Dumb question but are you sure the polarity is correct when you put the led bulb with the socket back into the light?

After talking to Dario and looking through my service records that I have from the previous owner, it looks like the idler and the belt tension pulley were never replaced. Since I am going to be in there replacing the ofhg, might as well as replace these parts as well.

But according to records, the water pump pulley and belts were replaced with oem parts about 30k ago. And I was thinking about the hydraulic tensioner but decided not to get it. If it is bad upon inspection, then I will replace it. So skipped those items.

On order are the two pulleys, bolts and caps.

Ha, I hope you don't end up finding out your tensioner is bad at 8:00pm like me! Thank goodness I had a parts car, or else my car would still be gutted.

Fingers crossed that it is not the case. But after doing some research on the interwebs, it doesn't seem like alot of people have issues with them.

Saw this and was thinking about it. Won't get to it next year if I do.

Think it's worth $100? What's the biggest benefit? just more light?

ECStuning actually has a sale on them sometimes so it was roughly $65 for the complete interior kit. Plus they offered free shipping on them.

Biggest benefit is that they provide a higher light output. Plus the light output is white and crisp instead of the dull yellow from regular bulbs.

Not a bad deal on sale. I like the look inside at night with them. Remember the bulbs only work if installed in the correct direction (polarity). Hope they last a good long while.
