    +1

I get about 240-280 with city driving. I blame Portland's numerous hills and my very heavy right foot. Like...I think I have a club foot. Or someone put lead liners in all my shoes.

    So filled up today.

379.9 miles on a tank which equaled 23.6 mpg city driving.

I remember the window stickers for these cars stating 21 mpg for city and 30 mpg for highway driving.

Not bad for a 12 year old car with 145k ey?

What are you thinking of as an alternative to the Konis?

My only shock/strut experience for the E46 are factory, Koni Yellows, and the few times I've driven NoVAphotog's car with Bilstein PSSes. The Bilstein's are quite nice; I could definitely see that as a quality alternative to the Konis. I personally really enjoy my Koni setup and it's the perfect mix of comfort and performance for my needs. Years before I had my ZHP, I had experienced the same shocks on my father's old Mustang GT and it really helped balance that car and make it more manageable, and it's what aided part of my decision to go with Koni when the time came for my car. I put the same suspension in my sister's car that had worn factory shocks/struts and it had a similar improvement for her car as well.

Can't hate on the lifetime warranty, decent price, and adjustability either.
