Awesome! I didn't know you could just convert to xenon like that. I assumed the projectors were less capable in the halogen units.

I didn't either. Everything went pretty smoothly...They aren't adaptive, like coupes equipped with factory xenons, but they're a big improvement to what it used to be.

Installed my Alcantara E-Brake boot from CobyWheel today. Glued the bracket on last night with Fabri-Tac, and let it dry overnight. Now everything's looking uniform in here.

Obtained the Warranty Repair History from BMW today. The original owner "adamantly declined" to give me the service records, but I was able to get them through Prestige.

Exterior trim code: A35 Monaco Blue Metallic
Interior color code: G7AT Black Cloth
    MSRP: $43,520.00
    Vehicle production date: 2006/03
    Wholesale date: 4/26/2006

    Option Information:

    0ZHP: Performance Package
    0403: Moonroof
    0441: Smokers Package
    0494: Heated Front Seats
    0534: Automatic Climate Control
    01CA: CO2 relevant vehicles
    0415: Power Rear Sunshade
    0459: Power Front Seats
0521: Rain Sensor & Auto Headlight
    0640: Phone Preparation
    0650: In-Dash CD Player
    0692: CD Changer Preparation
    0818: Battery Switch
    0674: Harman/Kardon Premium Sound
    0770: Aluminum "Silver Cube" Trim
    08SP: CO2 Control
    09AA: Transport Protection
    0925: Shipping Package

    Warranty Enroll Date: 04/27/2006
    No Coverage as of: 04/27/2010
Original Center Name: BMW of Oyster Bay

    Repair History Claims:

    Claim #32070 Date: 02/16/2007 Mileage: 15,667
First Engine Oil Service - Full Maintenance
    Front Wiper Rubber Inserts

    Claim #60370 Date: 01/08/2008 Mileage: 31,356
    Inspection 1
    Front Power Window Loose

    Claim #86400 Date: 11/17/2008 Mileage: 47,187
    Oil Service
    Front Wiper Rubber Inserts
Brake Fluid Change - Full Maintenance Program

    And that's all she wrote!

At this point, I'm still under the impression I'm on the original cooling system. It's also possible things were repaired out of warranty, by the second owner, at a local shop.

Sucks about the PO. Alcantara looks great, though!
