Anyone using Datalogging and/or attempting to edit their DME?

Well after reading through some of this thread on another site, I figured I'd ask… anyone on here dabbled in this with their ZHP?

I don't plan to mess with my current modified technique-tuning modified DME, but I'd like to be able to access some of the ECU variables to measure and learn a little more about the BMW engine controller strategy. I just ordered a 11.6" laptop (been needing one for a while now to play with the power commander module on my bike) and galletto/VAG cable. I hope to begin playing with BMW Logger and see where that takes me.

Anyone using BMW Logger or some of the other extract/flash setups?

I have been using bimmersoftware for over a year to monitor various values the DME registers. It is very helpful in troubleshooting problems I have run into, and is very simple to use. 50 bucks for a license and 9 dollars for a USB to OBDII cable. I have some datalogs if you want to see and can answer any questions you have. Good Luck
