    The Spacer Swap Thread

Ok folks... After hanging out with William and Rando tonight (thanks again guys, always great to see you and get some Mafia time in while I'm out here on the ship), I decided to post this thread. We were talking quite a bit about William's new spacers and how he wants to go smaller by 3mm. I was explaining how I want to get my hands on a set of 10mm spacers for my rears to test fit and see how it'd look. So, I had an idea...

I'd like to start this thread to find out who has extra sets of spacers. I think its crazy to spend $50+ for a set of two spacers, only to find out that you need to go wider/narrower... So, this thread can serve as a place for people to post what they have or what they're looking for. For those that have spare spacers and are willing, I'd like to start a borrowing/swapping deal so that we can test fit to see what we may or may not want before buying. This is not a PERMANENT swap thread, just borrowing/loaning for test fitment only!

Rules as I would see them:

    1. The borrower pays shipping cost. No reason these can't fit in USPS Priority Small Flat Rate box right or Priority Padded Envelope right?? Each cost less than $6 to ship.

    2. You have 1 week to test fit and then return them back to the owner. This way others can have a chance as well.

    3. If owner agrees, you can forward them to the next person in line (the third person will then pay you shipping, and whoever sends them back to owner pays return shipping).

    4. The owners/loaners shouldn't inquire any cost as they're doing the rest of us the favor!

Of course, this all has to be based on trust in our Mafia family. I think this can be a great idea, but everyone has to be genuine and honest, which I believe we all are here! So, if you think this is a good idea, please post!

Lastly, if you have spacers to loan out, please post quantity and size!

That all being said, when I get home to Florida, I'd love to borrow a set of 10mm spacers (2) so I can test fit on my rears.

I'm thinking of buying some 12mm spacers from BimmerWorld during their 12 days of Christmas sale. If I buy them, you can certainly borrow them and try them, but it will be 12mm not 10mm. (You could also try my existing 5mm spacers but I assume that won't be enough to satisfy!)

Not sure if it helps, but here is 15mm on a sedan. I did have to roll to make them fit.

    Dario,

I think Jon needs to fit test because of his aftermarket rims.

Zactly... My current setup has my rear wheel face 15mm out from stock, and my front wheel face 18.4mm out from stock... So, your 15mm spaced OEM 135s are the same fitment as my current wheels... For some reason it looks different on your car than it does on mine... But I dunno...

LivesNearCostco- I would be interested in trying out your 5mm spacers... Of course, it won't be for another month or so... No rush on my end.

Jon is getting aggressive and I like it.

I don't know how the 10mm is going to fit if your wheels are already spaced 15mm from stock, but I want to see it.
