Your right Dane, the weather was so bad though towards the end of the recovery that they were just trying to keep aircraft away from the landing area. I believe it recovered on the angle and was towed to the bow. Brilliant thing by the Handler...

I'd have had the Handlers ass for that.

Hey Steve, thanks for thinking of me! Sadly, none of the links or videos will play/load for me while out here on the satellite internet. I am happy to say we are sailing smoothly at the moment, heading into port in Puget Sound tomorrow.

Winter sailing is never fun. Knowing that we have about 40-60 feet of freeboard (based on cargo/ballast) is nice, but then seeing the waves come over the bow/side also makes you realize how insane the sea can get.

Bummer, well all you need to know is North Atlantic, winter ( just a couple of days ago), and scary big seas. They were having up to 40 degrees roll in something like a c9 container ship (fully stacked).
